FIONA ZHANG

Fiona Zhang is a rising sophomore at Westview High School. She began taking piano lessons since she was six years old, and has studied with Ms. Jane Bastien. She has completed and passed all the levels of the MTAC Certificate of Merit Evaluation, from Preparatory to Advanced Level, and has always received high scores for all aspects of the evaluation. She has also taken part in the National Piano Guild Auditions for seven years, where she has received a score of “Superior” every year as well. She also has experience participating in piano competitions, such as the annual MTAC Sonata Contest. In addition, Fiona has taken AP Music Theory at school, and earned high grades in the class, while also receiving a high score on the AP Music Theory Test. Fiona has had experience tutoring students before and enjoys working with kids. She hopes that the lessons and activities of Keys to Success will create an opportunity to inspire younger students to develop a love for music.
